Jean's work is centered on unexpected use of color, color harmony and unusual composition. She has no favorite subject matter but is drawn to landscapes and interiors. Her paintings are drenched in color and are said to pulsate from a light source inside the canvas.
"Each painting is unique and I respect and execute each canvas with its special personality. I feel that I have a one-time chance to capture mood. I want the viewer to feel the sun, wind and rain, hear the ocean, and most importantly, feel the emotion. |
